COVID-19 Vaccine Information
In its fight against COVID-19, Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center continues to expand its vaccination program for Georgia and South Carolina Veterans. As part of that effort, we recently launched a second COVID-19 vaccination clinic, located on the 3rd floor at our Uptown Division on Freedom Way. While we are accepting walk-ins at both our Downtown and Uptown Augusta clinics, we encourage Veterans to instead make an appointment beforehand by calling 1-706-733-0188 and using either extension 3632 or 3634. Making an appointment beforehand ensures prompt service and allows us to maximize the number of Veterans we can vaccinate each day. Please understand we sometimes experience high call volumes at our vaccination clinics, and during those times, we ask you simply try the numbers again at a later time.
Neighbors Together 2021:
Police & Community Relationships:
Building Mutual Respect & Accountability
Please join Clayton Police Chief Kevin Roberts in bringing together law enforcement and south metro neighborhood leaders for a meaningful conversation about the role that we can all play in building stronger, safer communities and fostering more inclusive and trusting environments. Through candid dialogue, this event will seek to create an environment where neighbors and police listen to one another, develop compassion, and find common ground.
